I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) who is National Board Certified in Counseling (NBCC/NCC). I have over a decade of experience in private practice working with preteens and teens, young adults, adults and families. Individuals’ concerns include anxiety and depression, stress and coping skills, substance abuse and dependence, tools to manage adult ADHD, issues related to identity and esteem, peer relationships, and social, emotional and behavioral issues identified in home, school and work settings. In addition to these services I enjoy helping people by providing relationship coaching, parenting coaching and teen social skills groups. I use a strengths-based approach and find meaning in helping my clients create a life they find fulfilling. I am appreciative of, and open to a therapeutic process that fits the individual. Therapy and coaching are not a “one-size-fits-all” journey. Apart from my counseling practice I have over a decade working as a school counselor for grades 6-12 at a local private school. Additionally, I am teaching faculty for the Graduate Department of Counseling Psychology at Rosemont College, and Thomas Jefferson University. Courses include: Substance Use and Addictions, Offender Treatment, Internship Seminar, Supervision, and Group Processes, Intro to Psychology and Intro to Counseling. My certifications and trainings include Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)/ACT for Trauma, Ashtanga Yoga 200-hourTeacher Training, Mindfulness training, Positive Psychology/Education training, and NMT trauma training to name a few. Call me if you’d like a 15-minute consultation to see if I would be the right fit for you or your family.
