Introduction

Hi, I’m a licensed mental health counselor with a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and a Master's in Mental Health Counseling from Upper Iowa University. I hold post-graduate certifications as a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP) and a Certified Sex Therapy Informed Professional (CSTIP), which support my work with individuals and couples navigating complex emotional and relational challenges. I specialize in working with trauma, relationship dynamics, and sex therapy. My therapeutic toolkit includes Trauma-Informed Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT-T), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), IMAGO relationship therapy, and Sandtray therapy. I take an eclectic, client-centered approach that is supportive yet appropriately challenging—designed to empower you to grow and heal at your own pace. I became a therapist because I’m passionate about helping others achieve their personal healing goals. Therapy isn’t one-size-fits-all, and I believe in creating a safe space where clients feel seen, heard, and genuinely supported. Outside the therapy room, I enjoy swimming, ballroom and bellydance, attending live music events, and getting creative with scrapbooking. These interests keep me grounded and joyful, and I bring that same energy and authenticity into my work with clients.
