APCC Joining You On Your Journey Therapy
Specialties: Anxiety, Depression, Trauma, LGBTQIA+

Introduction

Hi there! Thank you for stopping by. I am a white, queer, genderfluid, non-disabled, neurodivergent clinician. As a parent, I am passionate about supporting pregnant and parenting people, young people, and families. I work primarily with 2SLGBTQIA+ communities focusing on reproductive mental health, identity exploration, and experiences of anxiety, depression, and trauma. To me, distress is often a very human response to the dehumanizing experience of living within systems that cultivate vast social inequity. In response, I seek to create a warm and collaborative therapeutic space, allowing for greater joy and connection outside of the therapy room. While my professional training helps me to facilitate the therapeutic relationship, you are the expert in your own experience, and I deeply value your unique knowledge. Together, we may identify your strengths and values as a means to address challenges, name the impacts that socialization has upon your well-being, and explore relational patterns, identifying what is working and what is not. If we determine Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) is a good fit for you, I am happy to bring it into our sessions to address trauma and any “stuckness” in your life. Therapy is your time! I will be sure to get feedback from you throughout, making changes as needed and incorporating more of what works to best support you on your journey. I strive to show up authentically, with humor and compassion, to work with you collaboratively, and to engage in practices of solidarity with you both in and out of the therapy room. I will bring attention to your existing coping strategies and supports within sessions and engage in mutual aid work outside of sessions in resistance to oppressive systems. I hold space for grief, rage, joy, and everything in between. If you think I may be a good fit for you, or would like to learn more, please reach out! I am happy to offer a free, 15-minute consultation. I look forward to hearing from you!
