I am well trained and experienced in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT). I specialize in anxiety, depression, bipolar, borderline, substance abuse, addictive/harmful behaviors, and relationship concerns. I am continually expanding my expertise and honing my skills. I work with adults of all genders and sexual orientations and I'm affirming of all types of romantic relationships. I am also experienced with and adept at working with people living on the autism spectrum. I work well with people who are seeking to go beyond simply talking things out and into gaining new knowledge and coping skills.
Therapy isn't about my agenda, it's about helping you identify and reach your goals based on what you truly value. I practice transparency, compassion, and down-to-earth rational thinking. I also provide a safe, nonjudgmental space for self exploration. My specific approach can vary with each client and I often blend CBT and DBT as well as other evidence-based practices. My approach is based on scientific research for significant, lasting change.
