Hi! My name is Acacia. I have worked in social services for over the past 10 years, much of which has spent providing support to various communities, including the BIPOC and LGBTQIA+ populations, folks diagnosed with End-Stage Renal Disease (ESRD), women, survivors of domestic violence and childhood abuse. Throughout my career, I have observed many barriers to mental health services, especially for minorities. As a woman of color, this deeply concerned me. I became inspired to create a space where I could provide affordable mental health services as a way to reduce the barriers that impact so many people within the population. I believe that not one size fits all and so I incorporate different modalities based on the client's presenting concerns and what areas need more attention.
