Abisinuola (Abi-sin-you-ola) graduated from Texas Woman’s University with a Master’s in Counseling Psychology where she fell more in love with the field. Her goal is to facilitate awareness of one’s past, work through one’s present, and plant seeds of hope for the future. Currently, she is a LPC Associate under the supervision of Dr. Andrea Johnson LPC-S. She is passionate about working with men, women and families facing difficulties related to intergenerational trauma, immigration, anxiety, self-esteem, perfectionism and issues stemming from family of origin and childhood. As your therapist, we’ll explore the aspects of your identity, culture, and experiences that have shaped who you are today. We’ll challenge unhelpful thought patterns and build skills that empower you to grow and move toward your goals. Therapy is a courageous step, and while healing takes time, you don’t have to do it alone. You can do this hard work! It won’t happen overnight but you owe yourself to try.
