Introduction

Hi there, I’m Abigail. I’m a Registered Associate Marriage and Family Therapist supervised by Amanda Morrison, LMFT #11325. I am so grateful that you are here, as I know that seeking out support can be a vulnerable thing to do. As a therapist, I am passionate about providing people with a warm and safe space where they can be seen and allowed room to explore their most authentic selves. I believe each of us has a light within us that has the ability to shine even in the hardest of times, but sometimes we may feel detached from this lightness. We may be in need of a safe environment to connect to, nurture and re-brighten this light or our lives. As someone who has used therapy as a tool for my own healing and growing connection to my most authentic self, I deeply empathize with how hard life can be at times. I believe that it takes courage and goes against many systems at large to dive into understanding more about yourself and the challenging circumstances of your uniquely lived experiences. Perhaps you are seeking out psychotherapy for the first time, or you have tried therapy at different points in your life. Together we can begin to explore why it may be that you are coming to therapy at this time. I will hold curiosity, compassion and warmth as I work alongside you as you begin to explore what is moving you towards healing.
