Specialties: Trauma, PTSD, Anxiety, Dissociation, Perfectionism,

Introduction

When something traumatic happens in our lives it can be difficult to move forward in meaningful ways. We often keep getting drawn back into the same patterns of destructive thoughts or behaviors. It becomes difficult to get out of these habits until we process the traumatic events at the root of these thoughts and behaviors. Therapy is one stepping stone in the healing journey of many people who have experienced trauma in their lives. I specialize in working with young adults to help understand, process, and move on from traumatic events that have happened in their lives. Trauma comes in all shapes and sizes. Anything that has happened that causes you ongoing concern is what I work to heal with you so that you can be your most authentic you. I use EMDR to help people to identify the source of present day challenges and process the difficult memories from the past that keep you stuck. Trauma causes challenges in many areas of life, I want to work with you to help you to become better able to engage in your life the way that you want to be able to. Whether it happened a week ago or a lifetime ago, healing is possible.
