I enjoy working with adults ages 20-70 who are seeking a change. Through an empathic and compassionate undertone, I will work with you to unpack how your experiences have shaped the narrative you live today. This person-centered approach is at the core of my practice. As a graduate of North Carolina State University, I had the opportunity to gain dual licensure in social work and addiction. Both licenses (LCSWA and LCASA) are currently in "associate" status, which means my practice is supported by professional supervision. My skill set focuses on changing thought patterns and developing resistance to old habits no longer serving you. These values are known as cognitive behavioral therapy and motivational interviewing. In addition, I know the impact environment and community make. I take a collaborative approach with you to engage and expand community. I specialize in substance use, trauma, and mental health diagnoses. I have experience working with individuals diagnosed with depression, anxiety, bipolar, and PTSD. Additionally, I have experience working with diverse populations including: LGBTQ+, people of color, and people living with chronic illness. I am currently accepting new clients for individual therapy. I am available for virtual or in-person sessions.
