As a person-centered clinical associate, I am committed to supporting individuals across the lifespan in their journey toward improved mental health and well-being. I firmly believe that therapy should be a collaborative process, where each person’s unique experiences, strengths, and goals are at the forefront of our work together. I graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Superior with my masters degree in clinical counseling. Throughout my training, I have had the privilege of working with individuals of all ages, helping them navigate challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, improving self-esteem, stress, phase of life transitions and more. While using approaches such as CBT, DBT, mindfulness, and strengths-based perspectives, I’m passionate about helping people develop strategies to cope with these struggles and to foster long-lasting, positive change in their lives. A core value I hold is the importance of self-care, understanding that it looks different for everyone. I encourage my clients to explore and cultivate practices that resonate with their needs, whether that’s through mindfulness, physical activity, creative outlets, or other forms of self-nurturing. Ultimately, my goals as a therapist are to create a safe, nonjudgmental space where clients feel truly heard, understood, and accepted. As well as empower individuals to connect with their inner resources, build resilience, and lead fulfilling, balanced lives. In my free time, I love to read, write, listen to music, spend time outdoors and spend time with family/friends. I also have four rescue animals that keep me busy and bring so much joy to my life!
