Introduction

I'm so glad that you have taken the first step to seek counseling! It takes courage to walk into the unknown. I will walk alongside you in this process and I look forward to meeting you. Below you will find some helpful information, including a list of common reasons you may seek counseling and a little more about me and my credentials. Please reach out if you have any questions along the way. I graduated from Flagler College with my Bachelor's degree in Psychology and a minor in Youth Ministry as well as a Masters degree from Jacksonville University in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with a focus in marriage and family counseling. When I am not working you can find me rock climbing at Stone, baking sweet treats for my friends, or reading with my cat Zeppelin. I am passionate about human rights and use a multicultural and feminist based lens alongside a strength based and person centered approach as I strive to provide unconditional positive regard, empathy, and congruence. I am a trained EMDR therapist and level one Gottman trained. I specialize in trauma work, gender and LGBTQIA+ issues, couples counseling, women’s issues, mood disorders, loneliness, healing from toxic relationships, and everyday life stressors. I believe that therapy is for EVERYONE, whether you want learn more about yourself, break free from old patterns, heal past and present trauma, process and understand your emotions, or simply have a listening ear- therapy is for you!
