My name is Aaron and I'm a dually licensed clinical social worker and addictions counselor. I graduated from USC in 2014 and have been licensed for 8 years. I specialize in trauma, addictions, men's issues, and relationships. I believe in a collaborative approach and bring a warm, kind, and supporting presence to my sessions. I use a trauma informed and harm reduction model in my sessions. This means that I meet my clients where they are and support them in meeting their goals. I understand that each client is the expert of their own life and as such, I want my clients to bring their own agenda to session. Between sessions, I typically assign a simple assignment to help the therapeutic process continue. Generally, therapy works best when there is engagement in the process.
