At times in our lives, it can feel as if there is a storm raging around us and often times within us. I am here to help you navigate your way out of the storm and into a life of wellness, resiliency, and peace. I am a state licensed and nationally certified therapist with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and a Masters of Science degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I have years of experience working with adults and couples with a broad range of issues including trauma, depression, anxiety, relationship challenges, stress, and other obstacles. I focus on each client individually because each person is unique in the difficulties they face. My approach to therapy is eclectic using a variety of evidence based practices including: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Mindfulness, Motivational Interviewing, and principles of Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). Each therapy is tailored to an individualized plan for each client or couple seeking help with their emotions, relationships, and/or difficult situations. I promote a safe, non-judgmental environment to help you achieve your goals and take the steps on your path to recovery and wellness. I also specialize in Eye-Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy to help those who suffer from trauma and abuse. I help clients confront and overcome those issues in order to move forward and embrace life. I know that it can be difficult to take those first steps to seek help. I look forward to meeting you and starting your journey towards wellness, resiliency, and peace.
