Introduction

Are the things that once made you happy no longer making you happy? Have you been through a traumatic experience that left you feeling scared, lonely, or even doubting who you are? Maybe you’ve been through a series of little things that you believe shouldn’t be bothering you, but they are. Have you found yourself on Google trying to figure yourself out only to find article after article about “childhood trauma”? I feel you. You are not alone. Together, I believe we can reduce your suffering, find direction, and feel happiness once again. My office is a safe and affirming space for all LGBTQ+ people. I have been trained in both EMDR and brainspotting. Together with some somatic work, I use these to help you reprocess and navigate issues such as PTSD, anxiety, depression, and even spots in life where you feel stuck. Therapy jargon aside, basically, we can retrain your brain and get it out of the place it has been stuck in. Let's break the cycle together! Counseling can be scary. I know. I've been in your seat. I've felt that anxiety of making the first phone call and it's okay that you're nervous! There are no hard and fast rules for what therapy looks like. Together we will laugh and we will cry. I'm honored and excited to go on this journey with you and I look forward to seeing the changes you will make!
