Social anxiety, also known as social phobia, is a mental condition whereby a person gets nervous during social interactions. Various signs will let you know that you have social anxiety, such as:

  • If you constantly have a fear of being evaluated negatively and judged by other people.

  • You avoid social events because you think you won't fit in or you'll feel awkward.

  • You feel petrified to go out to meet people whenever you change your appearance.

  • You think that the people closest to you look down on you.

  • You're exceedingly worried about what people will think about what you post on social media.

  • You find it hard to speak in front of other people.
