Warm Greetings! I'm Shola- therapist licensed in Maryland and Washington, D.C. I often treat clients who experience anxiety, depression, life transitions, career fatigue, substance use disorders, and living with chronic health conditions and life-threatening illnesses. Do you ever feel stuck? Do you ever feel misunderstood? Have you had moments when you feel out of control, sad or hard to breathe? I believe in the power of self-care and I teach strategies to help you manage life stressors and the impact on your well-being and relationships. I implement a strengths-based approach, incorporating Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness Techniques and breathing/visual exercises.
