When I was a sophomore in college I was diagnosed with a chronic illness. It was a devastating time for me, juggling numerous doctor’s appointments, going to school, having a part-time job, and witnessing the beginning of the end of my parents’ marriage. I eventually got to a point a few years later, after getting married and moving away from home, that I just couldn’t continue pretending like everything was okay. Getting out of bed was a struggle, and so was being motivated to do anything. That was the first time I seeked out therapy, and it had a profound impact on my life. I was able to find new purpose and confidence, which started my own journey of being a counselor, because I wanted to help other people through their tough times. Now I am fortunate to be able to support other women as they work through the difficult periods of their lives, redefining themselves, setting goals, and finding renewed purpose. Let me assist you in doing just that!
