Introduction

Caitlin V. Lyon is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who received her Master of Social Work from West Virginia University in 2017.  Caitlin has experience working in the human services field since 2008, working in in-home, outpatient, primary care, and residential settings.  She has provided direct care, case management, crisis intervention, counseling, assessment, and therapy to children, adolescents, adults, and families struggling with mental health disorders, substance abuse, disabilities, and trauma.  With compassion and empathy, Caitlin is skilled at using a blend of clinical skills and modalities to facilitate change in the context of a caring therapeutic relationship.  She draws from a variety of therapy models including acceptance & commitment therapy, EMDR, and person-centered techniques.  Caitlin is also certified in Accelerated Resolution Therapy and specializes in working with teens and adults struggling with trauma, depression, anxiety, and coping with life’s challenges.
