Trusting someone to share your personal story with is hard. Maybe you have shared it before, multiple times and you are tired of sharing it repeatedly, or this is your first time. No matter what, building a trusting therapeutic relationship is important in order to be able to share your story and have personal growth. My goal is to work with you to build a trusting and safe therapeutic relationship so you feel comfortable sharing your story and from there we can work together towards your personal goals. My primary approach to counseling is an integration of person-centered and cognitive behavioral therapies. I also like to incorporate mindfulness exercises and relaxation techniques into sessions to increase body and mind connection.
