Introduction

My name is Ammie and I am fully licensed independent clinical mental health therapist within the Minnesota area. I am committed to helping adolescents and young adults learn how to build healthier relationships, self-worth and future goals while healing from past traumas. I have been in practice for 7+ years and have been trained in CBT, EMDR and grief and loss. My work focuses on targeting distorted thoughts, beliefs and relationships. I believe in taking a collaborative approach to helping clients reach their goals and will offer additional supports and resources within the community to help meet individual needs. Let's face it, the demands of life are hard and it's difficult to know if we are processing clearly when feeling overwhelmed or defeated. Sometimes we need to hear ourselves out loud.
