Introduction

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker that provide therapy to adults. I specialize in trauma, anxiety, depression, women’s health, maternal/ perinatal mental health, infertility, life transitions, chronic illness, military and veterans issues, parenting issues, and adoption trauma. I am passionate about helping my clients navigate their mental health and develop skills to enjoy their lives. I have an eclectic therapeutic approach that is tailored for each individual client. I have experience working with all age ranges. I work in the school district for several years working with students and families to overcome barriers to education. I have worked in the acute hospital setting working with individuals and families experiencing crisis and loss and grief. I have been providing individual counseling to all populations in the outpatient setting and providing supervision to registered social work interns for several years. I have now shifted my focus to adults that are ready for growth and wellness. I blend several therapeutic approaches to individualize care for each client. I have studied and completed trainings in EMDR (eye movement desensitization and reprocessing), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectic Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Adoption Competency, Trained Clinical Trauma Specialist, and I am a Qualified Clinical Supervisor for social workers seeking licensure.
