Introduction

Hi. Welcome to the HC Fam where we are on a mission to continually rethink our relationship with therapy. How we think about it, how we do it, and how we want the world to see it. And, while it isn’t easy going against the grain, we’re okay with trying something new, especially as it relates to you. Maybe you’ve been told you shouldn’t share your private business with others. Maybe you’ve been told therapy is for the weak. Maybe you’ve been told therapy is for those who aren’t strong enough or smart enough to figure things out on their own. Well, either way, welcome to HC Studios, where we believe in seeking out a different way to do things -- like relationships or love. You know, the kind of stuff that in the long run actually matters more than anything else. To me, therapy has always been a place where I can let loose and get really curious about life and love and all of its confusing failures. I get to dig in and wander around those nagging places of resistance in my life that feel hard, heavy, and stuck. Therapy is my place where I get to lean in, stretch, and find movement and flexibility where there wasn’t any. Then slowly but surely, I see more clearly why the same old things that kept biting me in my butt were holding me back from intimacy and meaningful connections. Here at HC Studios, we love flipping scripts. It’s actually part and parcel of our job and I've been doing it for a long time. I absolutely love changing the conversation around the way we think and talk about therapy, and the way we think about and talk to each other. So, let’s get started. Let’s flip the shit out of the script and get busy getting real -- first with ourselves and then with each other. So, again, welcome. We'd love to meet you.
