Rebekah H. Hsieh

Rebekah H. Hsieh is a trauma-informed, dual-licensed professional clinical counselor in California and Virginia. She graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Early Childhood Education from Concordia University, and received her Master of Arts in Counseling with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy from Webster University. She has over 20 years of combined experience in working with individuals, families or couples in various environments to include outpatient hospital clinic, faith-based, not-for-profit, military and private practice. A majority of her clinical experience comes from being specialist and point of contact for the United States Marine Corps' Wounded Warrior Regiment via the Office of the Secretary of Defense and BUMED (Navy Bureau of Medicine) program, F.O.C.U.S (Families OverComing Under Stress). She learned a great deal both clinically and personally while working with the United States Marine Corps and has a tremendous amount of respect for the nation's Service Members and their families. As a counselor, Rebekah is committed to furthering her experience through application and study. She interweaves evidence-based modalities with a strengths-based approach when working with individuals. She is passionate about helping individuals perceive their greatest selves while identifying avenues to which they can achieve their goals and live life authentically. Rebekah considers it a privilege to be entrusted with the care of her clients. She also hopes to help beginning therapists succeed in their endeavor to achieve licensure whether through exam preparation or connecting them with resources. Aside from work, she enjoys maintaining a healthy and active lifestyle and volunteering and traveling to experience new and exciting places. She also has a deep appreciation for the performing arts.
