Nermeen Naguib – A Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Connecticut, and a Certified Professional Counselor (CPC) in the state of Nevada Nermeen obtained her bachelor’s degree with a major in Psychology from Waynesburg University in Pennsylvania. Since completing her undergraduate degree, Nermeen has been continuing her graduate studies; she obtained a master’s degree in General Psychology from American International College in Massachusetts and has completed her master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Capella University in Minnesota. Nermeen has been working in the mental health and substance use fields for several years and has been working with individuals from various walks of life, cultures, and backgrounds. Nermeen is bilingual in English and Arabic and has extensive experience with middle eastern cultures. She has also extensively worked with women and established a dedicated program for mothers who struggle with substance use disorders. She is also experienced in marriage, family, and couples counseling, and has been working with several couples on improving their relationships. Using integrative counseling, Nermeen utilizes evidence-based methods such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Person-Centered Counseling, and Solution-Focused Techniques to help her patients and clients turn complex situations into a manageable life journey, and overcome life hurdles they may face. She also uses a supportive and judgment-free approach to provide her patients and clients with the necessary environment to be curious about the future.
