Introduction

I began this work to support my own family member who experienced many mental health challenges. I am passionate about supporting individuals, couples and families move toward hope and healing. Many of the clients that I partner with are individuals who are looking for joy but may struggle with past issues, hurt, and pain. Some of my partners struggle with rejection, race, class and gender issues that are impacting their peace. Others that I work with are looking for their niche in life and need help processing their emotions or just need an extra ear. I have partnered with many who are along their grieving process journey or dealing with a break-up. Some may come from emotionally or physically abusive backgrounds, be it from parents or partners. Together we can build the future you want, need and have imagined! While I use a variety of different modalities we will find those that best meet your needs. I can help you find inner peace, problem-solving and emotionally focused solutions.I am also trained in breathwork. I am able to practice this remotely with clients. I have helped high achieving individuals find peace and work toward healing their perfectionism. I offer food, herb mental health coaching as well. Our minds are completely connected to our bodies. What we eat will help move us toward or away from the direction of healing. Let's talk about food and mental health together! BREATHWORK Breathwork is a powerful tool to help shut down the flight or fight response that so many of us live under. Breathwork allows us to take a moment for mindfulness, breath through our diaphragm. most of us have fairly shallow breathing which leaves us holding cortisol and tension in our bodies. Deep breathing and learning to be present in that experience decreases in heart rate, blood pressure, and muscle tension). When eliciting the relaxation response in the body through a trusted breathwork facilitator your: • Metabolism decreases • Heart beats slower and your muscles relax • Breathing becomes slower • Blood pressure decreases • Levels of nitric oxide are increased • Overall level of anxiety goes down FAQ on Breathwork Will I levitate? -No BW will not physically make you levitate. However you may begin to have trapped or stored memories. This happens because your frontal cortex and fight or flight response is shut down therefore you are actually able to connect with your emotions. Can BW be done virtually? -BW can absolutely be done virtually. It is powerful because as a practitioner I do not have the answers but through BW you are able to connect with yourself. You have many of the answers you need and or looking for. Even if you feel as though you do not you definitely have a start. BW helps you move the "noise" of stress out of the way so that you are actually able to connect. My job as a facilitator is to guide the time and space. What if I do not feel anything? -Well BW is not about a feeling. Instead you are doing many things at once that move you in the direction of healing regarding of a feeling. BW is powerful rather you "feel " something or not. While in BW you are deep oxygen exchange. The beneficial trade of incoming oxygen for outgoing carbon dioxide deeply from the diaphragm. releases anxiety. Either way the benefits are available for those who desire to use this therapeutic modality. What happens after Breathwork? -You should feel a great deal of released tension, stress and anxiety. You should feel a bit of renewing. My clients have informed me that they feel muscle relaxation and spasm release. Clients have informed me that they feel attacked spiritually at times or have recurring dreams, childhood memories etc. These are not things to fear. It is the subconscious connecting with the conscious. Still feeling nervous about it? -Reach out to me for a consulting or email exchange to answer your questions. Please note that consultations are free and can only be scheduled via email or message. You are not able to book at consultation via the client portal. You may only have a consultation by booking via email, messenger or phone.
