Introduction

I have a strong belief in resilience and in helping others who are searching for something greater in life. I understand that while life can be filled with happiness, hope, and fun memories, it can also feel difficult to navigate in many ways at times. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor who specializes in working with individuals struggling with depression, anxiety, stress, suicidal thinking, overwhelming emotions, trauma, anxiety and relationship concerns. I have worked in the area of mental health for over 8 years and provided therapy services for over 6 years in outpatient, inpatient, and private practice settings. My therapeutic approach is based on using evidenced based cognitive and behavioral techniques to explore how thoughts, feelings and beliefs influence our actions and behaviors. My goal is to serve as your confidant, helping you to identify and utilize your inner strength and power to tap into the root of where the answers lie. Asking for help is not easy but it opens the doors for change to begin. A little bit more about me … In my free time, I enjoy traveling, watching a great (or crappy) horror movie, entertaining my pups, and spending quality time with my family and friends.
