Introduction

Hello, my name is Matt Porter and I have been practicing as a Marriage and Family Therapist since 2000, first in the San Francisco Bay Area and presently in Los Angeles. I provide both in-person and Telehealth therapy. My primary specialities include EMDR, for trauma reprocessing work, and Dialectical Behavior Therapy, which includes applied Mindfulness and specific skills related to emotional regulation, distress tolerance, and Interpersonal Effectiveness. I am a gentle intuitive who honors and encourages my clients' strengths while exploring challenging issues and strategic change. I would be honored to meet you and will assist you in determining how I may best meet your mental and emotional needs.
