Introduction

I am licensed to practice in Florida and in Virginia. In my ten years as a social worker, I have served people from all walks of life, ages, gender identities, religious backgrounds, trauma histories, housing statuses, and more. Lately I’ve focused my work on those who have experienced domestic or sexual violence, as the intimate basis by which this trauma impacts a person requires a special kind of nuance, understanding, and empathy. I want to help you heal. I utilize elements from cognitive behavior therapy, mindfulness, motivational interviewing, and psychoeducation. I also practice EMDR.
