Introduction

Kim is Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor who enjoys working with adults. Kim obtained her bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Cincinnati and has completed her Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from Walden University. Kim is trained in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT). Kim is skilled in working with anger management, depression, anxiety, depression, trauma, and Borderline Personality Disorder. While her interests lie in the area of depression, anxiety, and mood disorder, Kim has worked in numerous settings with a diverse range of clients. She has provided individual and group therapy to children, adolescents, and adults in a community mental health center and has experience in community-based therapy, residential treatment, and day treatment programming. Kim has a genuine passion for helping others and providing support through difficult seasons of their lives. Kim’s therapeutic approach is friendly and nonjudgmental. Kim’s role as a counselor is to teach skills that you can use to manage painful emotions and change your life. Kim believes in meeting clients where they are emotionally and working together to help you become the best person of yourself.
