Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist #134447 Grazel Garcia Psychotherapy & Associates

Introduction

Was the last year particularly hard on you? Did the pandemic press "pause" on important parts of your life? Are you anxious about taking a new step in your life? If so, you are not alone. It is totally normal to struggle with life's transitions, and it's OK to ask for help. Sharing your hopes and struggles in an affirming, nonjudgmental space can help you live a full and authentic life. I take an emotionally-focused, strengths-based approach to therapy. When working with couples, I help partners identify and disrupt negative communication patterns so that they can be more accessible, responsive and engaged with one another. With adults and teens, I focus on generating more of what works in your life (and less of what doesn't). Therapy is a safe space to share your innermost feelings and thoughts with a person who is on your side. I will be on your side, particularly on the days it's hard to be with yourself.
