Introduction

My approach is warm, friendly, and client-centered. I believe that the relationship between the client and the therapist is the most important part of the therapeutic journey, and I pride myself on being able to get a good sense of my clients and who they are individually in order to develop a strong therapeutic alliance. I am empathic and validating, but I am also skilled in challenging unhelpful thought patterns and behaviors that may be getting in the way of living one's best life. I utilize a trauma-informed approach, blending aspects of cognitive-behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, psychodynamic, and mindfulness therapies.
