Introduction

My name is Fatima and I am the owner of Path of Discovery Counseling Services and founder of Sis Heal Yourself®. I am a licensed clinical social worker with a background in mental health. I have worked with a variety of populations over my career and received my degree close to a decade ago. What's most important for you to know about me though, is that I have once sat in your seat (and still!). I have gone to therapy myself and found how beneficial it is to my life. I know what it's like to be on the other side of the chair... to pour my heart out to someone I'm not sure I should trust... to develop a meaningful therapeutic relationship... and then see the beauty unfold as I learn about myself, how to adjust my thinking and resolve issues of my past. ​ I am so excited to work with you, and if you're still not sure about therapy, schedule a consultation anyway. I offer coaching services as well. ​ One of my life's missions is to create spaces for Black women to be free to be themselves, and to be set free --from pain, heartache, insecurity, etc. Sis I want you living a life full of peace, authenticity, love, and joy!
