Introduction

LCCS is a unique platform that allows you to connect with me at any time; you have the choice of communicating in the manner that is most comfortable and convenient for you, by face-to face office visits or a secure video messaging service. I have a no-nonsense approach to therapy, that being said, I fully believe an essential element to any therapeutic relationship starts with your goals as the client. I will strive to create a relationship where you feel safe and comfortable to share your feelings without fear of judgement. As your therapist, I will encourage, provide insight, and at times even challenge you in your identified areas. My approach will combine solution- focused and cognitive behavior therapy; eye movement desensitization and reprocessing therapy (EMDR) and trauma focused cognitive behavior therapy (TFCBT) when necessary. While I am able to offer you additional spiritual insight from personal knowledge, beliefs, and wisdom; if you are currently seeking counseling on strictly spiritual issues, such as advice on spiritual disciplines for connecting with God, Biblical wisdom, or matters related to spiritual warfare, LCCS is likely not your best option. On these matters, I recommend seeking traditional pastoral counseling such as through a place of worship.
