Introduction

Hello, I'm Barbara! I am a motivated Social Worker with comprehensive knowledge of the multifaceted impact that trauma has on an individual’s life. I am passionate about building trust and rapport with clients through non-judgmental approaches, patient demeanor, and compassionate interpersonal skills. My approach is collaborative, and we will work together to build the life, career, and relationships you want to have. I utilize a variety of therapeutic modalities and speak with each client about what works best for them. Additionally, I work with a broad range of age groups, ethnicities, and socioeconomic backgrounds. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Pennsylvania and have a Master's degree in Social Work from Edinboro University. Since graduating I've worked primarily with individuals that have experienced trauma. Although Trauma-informed care has been, and will continue to be, a focus I also see clients that have a variety of other mental health issues and I pull from modalities that best fit the clients needs. As a social worker I am passionate about being in service, assisting clients meet their goals, and supporting vulnerable populations within my community.
