Introduction

Hello, Please call me Aquilla. I provide community mental health to persons in their own environments ie: home, school etc. It has been my experience that a person's defenses are lowered faster when they are in their own comfort zones. I work with individuals, children and adolescents using Cognitive Behavior and Solution Focused approaches looking at unhealthy beliefs and behaviors that contribute to feelings of anxiety and depression. We will begin where you are at, identifying strengths and exploring unmet needs, as well as, healthy strategies to get needs met. With more than 20 years of experience in the mental health and substance abuse , I have had success helping clients with depression, anxiety, trauma, and recovery My clients have described me as down to earth, easy to talk to and a great sense of humor.
