I spent twenty-eight years working in the production of mostly music videos and tv commercials until 2008 when the recession forced me to look at my life and my goals. Around that time I was trained and then began working as a volunteer crisis counselor at the Suicide Prevention Center. I discovered that I really loved helping people and that I wanted to do more with them. Along the way I delt with issues of substance abuse, family relationships, long-term grief, and suicide. That desire led to graduate school, more volunteer work at the Southern California Counseling Center, and then to where I am today-hoping to see and help you.
