Introduction

Hi, I am Aimee Medina, the Executive Director and Founder of Hope Seed Support Center. I am a Behavioral Scientist who graduated Summa Cum Laude from Ashford University and I am certified in Grief, Crisis, Suicide, and Trauma Counseling from Light University. I have worked in healthcare for over 21 years and had a vast career in patient care, clinical management, physician marketing, teaching, ministry, and working in crisis with sex trafficking victims and pregnancy centers. My expertise lies in clinical mental health. I specialize in grief, crisis, trauma, suicide, and behavioral therapy. I work with children, teens, adults, and families to restore function back to their lives. Sometimes this means rebuilding a firm foundation. My purpose is walk with individuals and families as they face uncertain times by providing guidance and encouragement through Christian Based Solutions, as well as, Evidence-Based Therapies. It is my passion to help adults, children, and their families become healthier, happier, and whole. Hope Seed was started to address the mental health needs and issues of our community and decrease the stigma associated with seeking help. Sometimes in the trials of life, even the tiniest amount of faith can seem too difficult. Hope is sometimes lost. But that is where Hope Seed comes in. It only takes a Seed of Hope to make a difference. That is our mission! We are here to combine our education, years of experience, expertise, and faith to help others through the most difficult times of their lives. As Hope Seed grows we want to be a leader in Mental Health, with innovative approaches, integrative healthcare, public health collaborations, community resources, and a state of the art facility. It is an honor to serve our community, some 7 million Houstonians. Don’t lose Hope. We are dedicated to help. When life gets hard, there is support. Hope Seed Support!
