Introduction

I have been privileged to assist a diverse group of clients utilizing evidence-based therapies over 25+ years in variety of different settings (clinic, school and community). Presently, I specialize in treating youth (6-25 years old) who are struggling with obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD), anxiety including specific phobias, tics and body focused repetitive behavior such as hair pulling or skin picking. I have received additional training, consultation, and certification through the Behavioral Therapy Training Institute of the International OCD Foundation to serve pediatric and adolescent clients utilizing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy with a strong emphasis in exposure and response prevention along with receiving training and provider certification through the Yale Child Study Center to utilize Supportive Parenting for Anxious Childhood Emotions (SPACE) with parents. In addition, I have received training and certification through the Tourette's Association of America (TS Therapy Training Institute) to utilize habit reversal technics based in the Comprehensive Behavioral Intervention Treatment to treat youth experiencing tics and their families. By actively working together, my hope is that we can minimize the impact of your symptoms on your life to provide you the opportunity and freedom to pursue your dreams.
