Introduction

****ACCEPTING NEW CLIENTS AND OFFERS A 15 MIN FREE CONSULTATION**** I offer a compassionate, non-judgmental, therapeutic environment where my clients can feel welcome and safe. I provide an affirming space for you to heal and grow. Everyone's experience is unique, and I tailor evidence-based practices to fit your individual needs. I come from a strengths-based attitude, viewing each client as worthy of love and happiness. We act the way we do for a reason... for survival... not because of any inherent flaws or weaknesses. I work with clients to notice what they are doing and what parts they want to change, expanding their view of themselves and their future. My areas of focus are those who may be struggling with issues relating to depression, anxiety, trauma, parenting, marriage, grief/loss and life transitions. I also work with clients to assist them facing challenges such as: negative body image, lack of confidence and self esteem, lack of boundaries, co-dependency and pressure around academics and future college and employment concerns. I utilize a holistic approach because we are multi-dimensional beings encompassing mind, body and spirit and none of these areas can be ignored in the process. Trained in Brainspotting - a trauma, and brain-based therapy. As a therapist trained in Brainspotting, I follow the theory behind Brainspotting that identifies how trauma is stored in the subcortical of the brain and the trauma often triggers the fight or flight response. Often, individuals become stuck in a state of fight or flight after experiencing trauma. Through the client's visual field, the trauma can be accessed and reprocessed. Once the trauma is reprocessed, individuals can begin to self-regulate and live in a state of peace.
