I’m a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Alabama, Kentucky and Oregon. I earned a Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with a specialty in Rehabilitation Counseling. I also Earned a Doctorate in Counseling, Education, and Supervision. I have competencies and skills in various areas of psychological disorders and life challenges working in a variety of settings. As a mental health professional, I adhere to the statues of the States in which /I am licensed as well as adhere to the ethical principles of the profession. I believe that you are the expert of your life! My job is to be curious and to help you gain more understanding of yourself. I don’t claim to have all the answers for why you are dealing with the concerns you have. My focus is to help individuals heal, energize, and become aware of their inner strengths. To achieve this, I provide a neutral safe space, listening to your concerns, and customizing services to meet your needs. I want to walk the journey of change with you in a supportive way. I have over 20 years of experience working with adolescents, families, and adults in a variety of settings. I’m trained in several therapeutic models and value an Integrated Systems approach to include family, school, community, and environment. I support and encourage using the strengths of my clients while encouraging autonomy and empowerment within a respectful environment. My background and experience enable me to offer effective outpatient care via telehealth. I utilize individualized care plans and treat several mental health disorders. The overall goal is to help my clients feel like they are working with me on neutral ground.
